My Ideal Sunday Reset in Monmouth County (And Why I Love Living Here)

As a Realtor, mom of three boys, and someone who genuinely loves where I live, Sundays in Monmouth County are often my attempt at finding a little balance before another busy week begins.

And if we’re being honest, balance in real estate doesn’t always look like an entire day off. Many Sundays still include open houses, client showings, checking in on listings, and prepping for the week ahead. But one of the things I love most about living in Monmouth County is how easy it is to blend productivity with lifestyle.

That’s exactly why so many buyers are drawn to this area.

You can have access to charming downtowns, local businesses, wellness options, beautiful outdoor spaces, and family-friendly activities all within a short drive. It gives you the best of both worlds: small-town charm with modern convenience.

Here’s what my ideal Sunday reset looks like.

First Stop: Coffee at Coffee Corral

No Sunday starts without coffee.

Coffee Corral has become one of my favorite local stops. It’s the kind of place that feels familiar, welcoming, and exactly what you want on a slower Sunday morning before the day picks up.

Coffee in hand is usually when I start mentally mapping out my day. Do I have an open house? A last-minute showing? Sports for my boys? A family dinner? Real estate life means flexibility is everything.

Hot Yoga at Life Time Fitness

If I can carve out time for a hot yoga class at Life Time Fitness, I consider that a major win.

It helps me reset both mentally and physically after a packed week of appointments, negotiations, school pickups, and everything in between. It’s one of the few times I can completely unplug.

And let’s be honest, sometimes I’m answering texts in the parking lot right before class starts because real estate never fully shuts off.

A Quick Stop at the Red Bank Farmers Market

This is one of my favorite Sunday traditions.

Fresh flowers for the kitchen? Yes. Local produce? Absolutely.

And if you know me, you know I’m leaving with my favorite pickles every single time.

There’s something about strolling through the Red Bank Farmers Market that feels like peak Monmouth County living. You run into neighbors, support local businesses, and somehow leave feeling like you have your life together for at least a few hours.

Open Houses and Showings in Between

This is where the reality of real estate comes in.

Many Sundays include hosting open houses, showing buyers homes, checking in on listings, or squeezing in paperwork between activities.

But that’s what I actually love about this career. My schedule allows me to build a life that blends work, family, and personal time in a way that feels intentional.

Sometimes I’m heading to an open house straight from yoga.

Sometimes I’m reviewing offers after a farmers market run.

And sometimes my kids are along for the ride.

Why I Love Living in Monmouth County

This lifestyle is exactly why I’m so passionate about helping people buy homes here.

Little Silver, Red Bank, Fair Haven, and surrounding towns offer something that feels increasingly rare.

You get:

  • Charming downtowns
  • Incredible local restaurants and coffee shops
  • Fitness studios and wellness spaces
  • Farmers markets
  • Beaches nearby
  • Parks and trails
  • A true sense of community
  • Easy access to NYC transportation

It’s the perfect blend of small-town charm and modern lifestyle convenience.

And for me, that’s what home is really about.

Not just square footage or finishes, but how your life feels on a random Sunday.

And around here? Sundays are pretty great.
