I am from Shrewsbury but now reside in Oceanport!
Tell us about your business!
I own a women’s clothing boutique “Jolie by the Sea” in Shrewsbury – Jolie meaning pretty in French by the Sea because we are! I always dreamed of owning a shop that was warm & welcoming – not fussy! A place where a woman could build outfits with unique well curated pieces. Items that you would reach into your closet for again & again. Wanted clients to feel they were receiving exemplary customer service & honest opinions on their purchases. a place to make women feel great when they shop!
What’s your background? What made you go into what you’re doing now?
I’ve worked in women’s boutiques for the past 15 years so I figured it was time to strike out on my own!
What do you love about having a business in Monmouth County?
I love Monmouth County – it has the best of everything about our state! Proximity to the beaches & NYC. Just a short trip to the country. It feels a little more relaxed here maybe because we are at the Shore!
What’s your favorite business in Monmouth County (other than yours!)?
There are so many great businesses in Monmouth County that I love! To choose one is hard but I love the Kitchen Witch in Monmouth Beach – so relaxing to go there for breakfast or lunch then a walk afterwards!
